Funding Available for California Biodiversity Research

Micro-grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 are now available to support the collection, vouchering, and archiving of specimens within California. A team of scientists reviews all project proposals, with awards distributed on a rolling basis.

The initial round of grants have been approved and funding is being released. New applications are reviewed weekly until all available funds have been allocated.
